George Washington was a very important man in history. He lead the Americans in many battles and after became president of the United States of America.
Before his Presidency Congress appointed George Washington as commander and cheif of the American revolutionary forces in 1775. George Washington presited over the Philidelphia Convention that drafted the United States Constitution in 1787. He also did many other things which would take to long to mention. The last thing I would like to say about George Washington is that he was one of the greatest Presidents in the history of the United States of America.
